Arumugam is a Tamil language film set to be released in 2009. It stars Bharath in the lead roles. The film is currently in its production stage.
Bharath plays an owner of roadside Idli shop and his only aim is to fulfill his mother’s dream. Living together with his sister Sharanya, Bharath’s only interest is Priyamani and both live together without getting married. This is something clichéd and more times we have seen in many flicks. Bharath needs to compete with a big shop and that’s not possible. So, its gets on the with the direct clash between Ramya Krishnan, owner of the shop and her role in this film will surely enthrall the audiences.

Priya Vasudev Mani Iyer (born on April 6, 1983), better known by her stage name Priyamani, is an Indian film actress and model who has acted in several Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam language films. She is best known for earning a National Film Award for Best Actress for her role in the 2006 Tamil film Paruthi Veeran directed by Ameer Sultan. She is the cousin of Bollywood actress Vidya Balan.
