Katrina Kaif (Hindi: कत्रिना कैफ़; born 16 July 1984) is a Hong Kong-born Indian film actress who has appeared in Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam films.Started her career with film Boom (2003) in which she played a quiet hot role and exposed a lot. She moved to Mumbai and was offered a number of modeling assignments. Katrina saw success with the 2005 film Sarkar where she played the brief role of Abhishek Bachchan's love interest. Her next release, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya in this she was paired opposite Salman Khan, in 2007 Katrina's first release was the hit movie Namastey London, wherein she starred as a British Indian alongside Akshay Kumar. She then appeared in a series of box office hits that include Apne, Partner and Welcome.
She played a negative role for the first time in Abbas-Mustan's super hit action thriller Race in 2008. She appeared next in Anees Bazmee's box office blockbuster Singh Is Kinng with Akshay Kumar. Her last release of the year 2008, Subhash Ghai's Yuvvraaj, was a surprise disaster at the box office. Her awaited forthcoming movie in 2009 is Blue.Awards:
